First learn as much as you can about your child’s challenges by checking out our list of resources.
Next, find books and materials suited for your child. There are a number of books available to help different age groups understand their challenges and abilities. Using age-appropriate vocabulary, these books discuss issues leading to self-awareness and understanding. To find age-appropriate materials, you should talk with your child’s school counselor, ask a librarian and consider the books on our resources list.
